MRC has an immediate opening for a full-time Safety and Occupational Health Specialist supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is a naval research activity operating under the direction of the Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). The Corporate Operations Department (Code 10) is an integral part of NUWCDIVNPT, responsible for providing timely and cost efficient business and operational services to the overall Division. Services provided by Code 10 include Human Resources, Infrastructure, Corporate Communications, ACIO/Information Technology, Security, Corporate Business Office functions, and Property Management.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing administrative, technical, material handling, analytical, training, data management, and workflow maintenance support services to the Infrastructure Division (Code 102), in the safety and occupational health support services, Navy Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH) compliance areas. The contractor shall provide support for Safety and Occupational Health Support Services and Navy Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH) Documentation and Safety Web Base Information Services. 

Additional job requirements include:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance
