McLaughlin Research Corporation has an immediate opening for a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is the United States Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and fleet support center for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive weapons systems associated with undersea warfare.

The qualified individual will have experience using SolidWorks and will provide system support for material reverse engineering and exploitation projects to determine the characteristics, capabilities, and limitations of said systems.

• 5-10 years experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with SolidWorks
• Secret Level Clearance
