Manages application environments. Upgrades, installs, and configures application software and computer hardware. Creates and manages system permissions and user accounts. Maintains network and environment performance, troubleshoots issues, provides technical support to users, and monitors system performance.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of related experience. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• Experience in one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)

• Advanced level of Linux experience (administration/hardening/compliance)

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals

• Advanced Linux scripting (Bash, Python, etc)

• Experience with configuration management (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc)

Desired Skills (a plus):

• Experience with one or more infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)

• Experience with one or more audit and compliance tools (Nessus, Lynis, Config, etc)

• Public sector contract experience

• AWS and other Certifications
