Were looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onwards toward certifying the Joby aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration, scaling our manufacturing, and preparing to launch commercial service in 2025.Advise and guide other receiving associates on industry best practices.Problem solve issues that arise, and identify solutions.Work closely with planning team to ensure expedited parts are processed to meet build scheduleTrain new associates, as well as existing associates on new processesReceive, reconcile, and properly route inbound parcel and freight shipments.Unpack and inspect items for defects or damage.Process purchase order receipts in the company ERP and communicate discrepancies to Purchasing and Quality teams.Work closely with Inventory and Quality Assurance teams to efficiently move controlled inventory to the warehouse.Problem solvingInteract daily with employees from many different departments adhering to high standards of customer service.Ensure all receiving is completed by EOMWill need to have proficient experience using computers for data entryMinimum 5 years shipping/receiving experienceHigh level of proven problem solving skillsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentStrict attention to detail is requiredAbility to be forklift certifiedCollaborative work ethicHistory of developing strong relationships across multiple departmentsBachelors degree in a business-related field is preferredPhysical strength and stamina, enough to lift 60 pounds occasionallyStrong understanding of the full Supply Chain Model and how it affects other aspects of the businessExperience with ERP/Inventory management software toolsBasic business office skillsCareer stability and dedication, demonstrated by multiple-year service to previous employersCompensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
