-training (OJT). This position will play a critical role in the retention and effectiveness of onboarding and training programs for all manufacturing new hires.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and deliver training programs for manufacturing employees on topics such as safety, quality,
and production processes.
- Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, and videos.
- Conduct training sessions in both classroom and hands
-on settings
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure training aligns
with company goals and standards.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in training and manufacturing processes
- Provide coaching and support to employees to reinforce training concepts and improve performance.
- Maintain training records and documentation aligned with HR department.
- Active safety committee team member and provides recommendations for safety process
improvements related to training.
* Must be able to work primarily day shift Monday
-Friday.
* Must be able to occasionally work 2nd and 3rd operating shifts to conduct training sessions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two to three years" experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a training or
supervisory role.
- Proficient user in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
