The candidate will consult with EA project managers and clients to determine how to meet project goals; manage and perform engineering design tasks; perform engineering calculations and evaluations; prepare reports; perform alternatives analyses; develop engineering plans and specifications; and implement projects. This position will be tailored to a specific candidates experience and personal interest and is best suited for an individual that is excited to develop experience across a range of technical and managerial skills. You will have the opportunity to support electrical and mechanical design and implementation for fuel systems, water, wastewater, and solid waste projects. This will include support and task management (field/office) of designs, inspections, testing, and construction phase services as our program continues to grow rapidly.
This position provides an opportunity to apply and grow your skills, such as:
Design, permitting, and/or field experience with construction and commissioning.
Knowledge of mechanical systems to include power/controls and process controls.
Knowledge of building automation and experience working with AHJs in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Knowledge of telemetry implementing supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) control systems design, Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs), and programming.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including client facing communication.
Flexibility, willingness to learn and potential for quick increase in responsibility.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree in electrical engineering (preferred), mechanical engineering or related discipline.
2-10 years of experience with electrical and mechanical engineering associated with fuel systems, water/wastewater systems, pump stations, landfill leachate, and/or landfill gas systems.
Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Engineer-in-Training working towards a P.E.
Practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is preferred.
