A day in the life of an Electronics / CNC Maintenance Technician is installing and maintaining shop machinery and equipment, including mechanical and control repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, security equipment and production systems.
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of five-years experience in an industrial setting with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Understands electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and piping schematics to aid in electrical / mechanical troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
Basic understanding of PLC control and / or CNC equipment and operation. Basic understanding of PLC ladder logic and / or CNC programming to aid in troubleshooting and repair of electronic controls.
Experience in using a multi meter. Ability to solve math problems presented by jobs in this departmental skill level. Must have a valid driver’s license and can be on call 24 / 7 for a one-week rotation every 6 weeks.
