Career TEAM is looking to hire an Executive Director that will be responsible for managing and supervising staff, and overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan. The Executive Director will oversee all aspects of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title 1, Adult and Dislocated Worker including plans, implement, administer, and evaluate projects and activities necessary to ensure programmatic performance and compliance standards are met. In this role, the incumbent will practice working knowledge in Workforce Development protocols, which include a basic understanding of the field, core programs, and business plans. As a leader and member of the Corporate Management Team the Executive Director is accountable for ensuring quality and integrity across Workforce functions.

This position is expected to work fully on-site at the listed location.

Your Impact on Career Team's Success:

  • Ensures compliance with contract requirements, including the adherence to policies and procedures and program monitoring
  • Focus on expenditure rates ensuring on-track performance without disallowed costs, driving metrics, and performance, providing support and coaching to staff, and creating service delivery plans
  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of policies and procedures for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Partner with the local development Workforce Board to ensure local area needs are met, support growth, and build community awareness of WIOA and partner services
  • Serve as the primary local contact and contract liaison funding source
  • Lead a team of high-functioning employees to execute the program initiatives while supporting employee growth in becoming highly trained workforce development professionals
  • Develop and implement strategies to incorporate a focus on performance objectives in the daily operations of organizational staff
  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of policies and procedures and a quality management model for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Hire, train, and develop staff ensuring appropriate application learning process
  • Accurate and thorough completion of required documentation and reports
  • Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
  • Other duties and projects as needed

To Qualify for This Role, The Ideal Qualifications Include :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, or community organization and development
  • 5 years of experience in operations
  • 5 years of experience in business, marketing, public relations, education, and/or human and/or workforce development services
  • Knowledge of planning and organizing work standards, processes, and references to regularly assist management
  • Understanding of technical support underlying issues related to customer problems and taking action to prevent future occurrences
  • Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and other workforce program requirements
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to lead a team with different working styles
  • A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient maintain a high-level of confidentiality
  • Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel), PowerPoint, training platforms, and case management or customer relations software applications
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A Valid Driver's License

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000/yr. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Employment Type: Full-time, exempt

Travel : Position may require local travel up to 30% of the time
