Job description
Career Support Systems is currently seeking an outgoing, organized, and passionate person willing to help people with disabilities and those with challenges/barriers to employment to achieve their employment goals.
Candidates must work well independently in the field with strong support from our local team. This is not an office job. Position will cover Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas.
Job Description for the Employment Consultant - Job Coach:
· Relationship building with local employers and community partners
· Individual human service planning with our candidates
· Individualized job-development with our candidates by assisting them with the application and interview process for jobs
· Daily documentation of services via electronic record keeping system
· On-site job training and support with our candidates and employer partners
· Job retention / follow-along services
· Employment related case-management
Requirements for the Employment Consultant - Job Coach:
· Related Human Services experience and/or related degree is required
· Previous outside sales/marketing experience is highly desirable
· Previous Reentry Experience a real plus
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage your time effectively to be successful in this job
· Strong creativity and problem-solving skills are critical
· Good driving record and background check required
