Career Start is currently seeking Machine Operators near Oneida, NY. To be considered for this Machine Operator position, candidates must be able to physically stand, lift, twist and grip regularly. The Machine Operator will be responsible for producing parts for automobiles. This is a unionized facility, union must be joined upon conversion.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

• Working independently or as a team
• Ability to work week in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Operate production machinery with minimal supervision
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment, as necessary
• Ability to work overtime on Saturdays, when needed

Requirements of the Machine Operator:

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Expert communication skills are essential
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to stand, lift, twist and grip regularly
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance is essential
