Apple is seeking an experienced Architect in Seattle, Washington, with a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The Architect will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering highly efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable runtime systems. The responsibilities include leading teams, collaborating on the development of runtime services and data pipelines, and working on offline data analysis and A/B experiment analysis. This role will also involve collaborating with the Research team to build recommendation models and developing debugging tools for software problem analysis. Additionally, the Architect will work on building pipelines for processing and storing big data using MapReduce techniques and developing compact recommendation models for on-device recommendations. The position offers competitive compensation within a base pay range of $161,700 to $243,300 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, stock options, educational reimbursement, and potential bonuses or commissions.
