Job Description:
Company Summary: We are a distinguished Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider based in Arizona, dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate services throughout the state. Accredited by BBB and NEMTAC, we specialize in Ambulatory, Wheelchair, and Stretcher Transportation, catering to individuals of all ages, 8 days to 108 years. With a focus on health and safety, we have built a stellar reputation for quality service and client satisfaction.
Position: NEMT Driver Types of Drivers: Wheelchair Service Driver and Stretcher Service Driver/Attendant
Responsibilities:

• Represent the company values with a commitment to excellence.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of vehicles between passengers.
• Assist passengers in and out of the vehicle using steps, ramps, and lifts.
• Offer assistance with personal items and equipment.
• Escort passengers to the door or inside if necessary.
• Practice safe lifting and moving techniques.
• Conduct pre and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Use a phone app to track trips.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience in the US.
• Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass criminal history check and obtain a fingerprint clearance card.
• DOT Physical – ability to handle repetitive lifting, bending, squatting, pushing.
• Vision check required; must be able to see and drive at night.
• Successful completion of training modules: CPR/First Aid & Basic Life Support, Cultural Sensitivity, Conflict Resolution, HIPAA, Fraud Waste & Abuse, Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity (PASS), Defensive Driving.
• Able to work in diverse weather conditions (rain, sun, heat).
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.
