The Job

* Executes clinical research trials in strict compliance of study protocol, standards of Good Clinical Practice, Standard operating procedures, QA/QC procedures, OSHA guidelines, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines and other state and local regulations where applicable.

* Effectively and professionally communicates with subjects, research teams, IRBs and sponsors.

* Meets regularly with the principal investigator and research teams to discuss subject participation and protocol progress.

* Receives adequate training on protocol and Sub-Investigator responsibilities.

* Participate in monitoring visits and audits as needed.

* Train staff when delegated by principal investigator.

* Participate in sponsor Investigator's meetings which may require travel off site.

* Ensure that adequate protocol training is received by Principal investigator.

* Ensure every subject meet 100% of Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria and are eligible dosing.

* Ensure GCP is followed throughout the entire study conduct.

* Communicate any changes to the protocol or informed consent to the subject.

* Ensure subject confidentiality.

* Ensure the subject or subject's legal representative are provided with a copy of the signed and dated informed consent form.

* Confirm that the informed consent form is in a language that is understandable to the subject.

* Secure a witness to the informed consent process when the subject or legal representative is unable to read.

* Allow ample time and opportunity for the consent process and answer any questions about the trial to the satisfaction of the subject or legal representative.

* Secure consent/assent of minors and mentally impaired subjects as appropriate.

* Follow emergency use guidelines for waiver of consent in emergency situations as directed by the federal regulations and IRB policy and procedures.

* Evaluate laboratory and ECG for inclusion/exclusion criteria.

* Train ancillary staff as necessary as directed by the Principal Investigator.

* Ensure subject safety in all instances.

* Available for on-call or on site coverage including weekends and holidays as needed.

Requirements

* Active Medical License in the State of Florida or Board Certified Medical Doctor or DO, ARNP,PA.

* ACLS/PALS/BLS Certification.

* Clinical research experience preferred.

* Strong knowledge of FDA/GCP/ICH guidelines.
