Hospice Medical Records Clerk
Salary : $20-25 / hr BOE
Schedule : Full time M-F 8 : 00AM-4 : 00PM
Location : Hilliard, Ohio
Requirements of the Medical Records Clerk role :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Medical Records / Medical receptionist
- Detail-oriented, skilled in organization, able to manage office files, log books, and staff schedules
- Must possess secretarial skills and customer service skills
About the Medical Records Clerk Assistant ro le :
- Preparing patient charts and gathering information and documents from patients
- Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate, and complete
- Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
- Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
- Transferring data into the facility’s main system database
- Processing the records for admitting and discharging patients
- Preparing paperwork for IDG meetings
- Breakdown of discharged patient records
- All other duties as assigned
