SCOPE OF WORK:

CARE supports a range of programs globally in the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.More than 1,000 projects in 100 countries implement CARE programs in the technical areas of Food and Nutrition Security; Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights; Women's Economic Empowerment; Lives Free From Violence; Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene; Gender Justice; Education; Climate Change Resilience; Inclusive Governance; and Humanitarian Response. We are looking for an intern to support the Health Equity and Rights (HER) team in its work to elevate research and programmatic success from the Bihar Program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize published literature from Bihar program into a database and archive in preparation for analysis and writing, including outlining authors, subject focus, methods, key takeaways, and lessons learned from each.
  • Develop key themes and outcomes from overall Bihar literature, likely organized into focused categories.
  • Highlight at least 1 high-quality case study from each focused category with accompanying 1 page narrative (for finalization as potential stand-alone report and integration into the final manuscript).
  • Support on writing research publication - literature review for the background), support drafting process, support formatting for submission.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1 year of Master of Public Health or Master of Development Practice education.
  • Microsoft Office, database management, data analysis.
  • Preference for experience with SharePoint.
  • Preference for curious mind and laser sharp attention to detail.
