Orthopedic Centers of Colorado (OCC) is a leading orthopedic healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality care to patients in Colorado. We are seeking a dedicated Practice Management System Administrator to support our operations and optimize our Allscripts Practice Management System, now known as Varadigm.

Position Overview: The Practice Management System Administrator will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the Varadigm Practice Management System for OCC. This role will ensure the system's smooth operation, data integrity, and efficiency, enabling our orthopedic group to provide excellent patient care while maintaining a streamlined practice management workflow.

Responsibilities:

1. System Administration:

· Perform day-to-day system administration tasks for the Varadigm Practice Management System.

· Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.

· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

· Implement system upgrades and patches as needed.

2. Data Management:

· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of patient and billing data within the system.

· Oversee data imports and exports, including patient demographics, insurance information, and financial data.

· Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making processes.

3. User Training and Support:

· Provide training and support to OCC staff members on system usage and best practices.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries and issue resolution.

· Collaborate with other departments to address system-related needs.

4. Workflow Optimization:

· Analyze current practice management workflows and identify areas for improvement.

· Recommend and implement workflow enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.

· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

5. Vendor Collaboration:

· Liaise with Varadigm (formerly Allscripts) vendor representatives to stay updated on software enhancements and best practices.

· Coordinate system updates, patches, and maintenance with the vendor.

PAY & BENEFITS:

$65,000 - $85,000 per year

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Management, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

· Proven experience with the Varadigm Practice Management System (formerly Allscripts) or similar healthcare practice

management software.

· Strong understanding of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare compliance regulations.
