Job Summary: The Clinical Social Worker/Patient Advocate provides services for the patients and families of the Program in Womens Oncology to address psycho-social, environmental, and behavioral factors which have impact on the healthy functioning and/or recovery of the patients and families.
The incumbent functions as a member of the health care team to provide direct clinical services including assessment and coordination of social services.
Specifications: Master's degree in Social Work and a license as a Clinical Social Worker (CSW) or a license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Experience and/or willingness to run support groups and opportunity to develop new programing.
Must have access to transportation and a valid drivers license, and ability to work flexible hours.
