Duties
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder.
- Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Assist with the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill development and behavior management.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Provide support and guidance to clients in daily activities, including personal care, socialization, and community integration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- Must be a Certified Behavior Technician in the State of Washington.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all aspects of work.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
