This Legal Analyst opportunity is great for an individual that is organized, process driven, and detail oriented. What you'd do as a Legal Analyst at Care Initiatives: Receive and analyze subpoenas, requests for medical records, and other formal information requests, independently gather relevant documents and information, and manage the company’s responses.Monitor and coordinate activity related to litigation, administrative actions, and other open legal matters, including tracking, information gathering, and implementing discovery and legal hold processes. Lead, develop, implement, and maintain records management and information governance processes for the classification, retention, and disposition of records throughout their lifecycle.Provide general support to the Legal Department related to a wide range of other legal issues; such support includes reviewing and preparing documents and correspondence and conducting research. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the Legal Department’s efficiency, organization, and communication with stakeholders. Organize, maintain, and archive key legal documents and other files in accordance with regulatory guidelines and record retention requirements. What it takes to become a Legal Analyst with Care Initiatives: Bachelor’s or associate degree. 5 years of experience of related experience. Examples of related experience include prior work in the following areas: paralegal; legal support/legal operations; litigation and claims management; records management; compliance, regulatory, and licensing; risk management.Prior experience working in an in-house legal department preferred.Experience or familiarity with healthcare and long-term care/skilled nursing operations, laws, and regulations preferred.Experience or familiarity with medical records and medical professional liability litigation preferred.Why choose Care Initiatives?
