What you will do as a Hospice Office Coordinator:

• Maintain accurate patient records and obtain signatures from physicians.
• Facilitate orders for medical equipment.
• Ensures communication for proper billing of pharmaceuticals and supports timely completion of gathering all clinical records.
• Organizes and maintains an efficient office environment.
• Prepares agenda for team meetings.
• Assists with payroll duties and human resource duties ensuring an accurate and complete employee file.

What it takes to become an Office Coordinator with Care Initiatives Hospice:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Education in business practices or secretarial training
• Knowledge of general office practices and procedures
• Knowledge of word processing software and data systems
• Two years related experience in position with similar duties
• Medical terminology – preferred
