Overview

• Care Force Homes is seeking motivated caregivers who are team players to provide person centered support services to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in a residential/group home setting in Milaca, MN.
• Our company is committed to providing Person Centered Services, and you will receive training in Person Centered Thinking and Positive Behavioral Interventions. We do not use physical interventions.

Schedule
Average 31.25 hours/week
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and Every Other Weekend

• Week 1:Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 2:45-9PM, Saturday 9AM-9PM
• Week 2: Sunday 8AM-9PM, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 2:45-9PM
• Opportunities available for more hours

Compensation

• No experience $16.00/hour.
• With experience $16.50/hour.
• Paid sick time.
• New Hire bonus after 6 months of employment.
• 1 1/2 times Holiday pay for work on 8 designated Holidays.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Report to shift on time, ready to work.
• Participate in implementation of daily activities and daily routine.
• Support persons served in their home and taking them in the community. Some of our people like to be at home, and some are very active in the community.
• Prepare and maintain records of each person's progress and services performed.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance for people served while still being a caregiver..
• Assist persons served with home maintenance and perform cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications for a DSP Position

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally, in writing, and on a computer and ability to use good judgment.
• Must hold a valid driver's' license with a clean driving record.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. depending on residential setting.
• No experience required as we will train you in providing direct care services.
