Care First Rehab is looking for a Front Office/Patient Service Specialist. We have full time positions available in our outpatient clinic in Cary.

Details of duties: (But not limited to) 

• Patient-facing as the point of contact for old and new patients of the Care First Family
• Working with the billing office regarding insurance verification, billing, authorizations for sessions, and follow-up with therapists and lead
• Working with our home care scheduler regarding home care patients scheduling and transportation
• Informing and educating patients/families on insurance benefits and scheduling process
• Collecting copays and discussing financial arrangements with patients/ families
• Assisting clinic therapists with patients
• Managing the day-to-day front office operations

Position Requirements: (But not limited to) 

• • Minimum of one (1) plus years of administrative and medical office scheduling/transportation experience

• Must Be able to work till 7 pm on Monday to Thursday and 8am - 5 pm on Friday. 

• Experience with EMR (i.e, Epic, AthenaHealth, WebPT)
• MUST BE PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT EXCEL AND GOOGLE SHEET.
• Highly Detailed and organized in all work aspects
• Good communication skills on the phone and in person; Very articulate in written and verbal communication
• Able to multitask between many different projects/duties

Addes plus:

• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Leadership role.
• Insurance knowledgeable (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, workman’s comp.)
• Microsoft Office proficient; particularly in Word and Excel
• Google applications proficient (i.e. Sheets, Docs, Calendar)

Salary Range: Competitive compensation based on experience.
