As the non-profit leader in advanced illness care, we offer services in more than 90 communities in Eastern Massachusetts.Job DescriptionHours: Monday-Friday; 8AM-4:30PM; full time; 40 hoursSummary:Reporting Vice President for Philanthropy, the Donor Relations Manager will develop and implement plans to cultivate and retain all donors. S/he will create and implement annual, capital, memorial, and major gift donors. Based in the Greater Boston office, the Donor Relations Manager will maintain a portfolio of major gift prospects. S/he will work closely with senior leadership, leadership volunteers, colleagues, and community leaders to identify and generate major gift support.QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree required.Five to seven years relevant experience, encompassing major or planned gifts fundraising; CFRE preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with major donors, leadership staff, and volunteers.Superior written and oral communication skills.Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Energetic self-starter, able to take initiative and work independently.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
