Job Title: Medical Scheduler
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Hourly/Non Exempt: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments for patients
- Managing and maintaining the appointment calendar
- Coordinating with medical staff to ensure efficient scheduling
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Updating patient information in the system accurately and timely
- Assisting with insurance verification and pre-authorizations as needed
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficiency in using phone systems and scheduling software
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
