Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineering Architect to join our dynamic team at the director level. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecture design and Tier 4 troubleshooting of our enterprise-grade network, ensuring its optimal performance and security. Mastery of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, cloud networking as well as expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls, are essential for this role. Essential Functions: Lead teams of skilled infrastructure and support teams to support CardWorks Servicing. This role will improve service availability, resiliency, and scalability through process improvement. Develop support processes, project implementation/planning and developing measurements to drive continuous improvement. Design and architect enterprise-grade network solutions to meet business requirements and objectives on premise and in the cloud.Lead Tier 4 troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex network issues efficiently and effectively.Implement and maintain routing protocols for LAN and WAN environments (BGP, OSPF) to optimize network performance and reliability.Expertise in WAN technologies and their underlying backbones (SD-WAN, MPLS, P2P) and how to integrate them to build a redundant and resilient design.Design, configure, and maintain Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto Networks) to ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.Conduct regular performance monitoring and capacity planning to identify and address potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities.Partner across IT and the business to develop and support processes to maintain or exceed goals. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the network engineering team. Education and Experience:Ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology, infrastructure, support role(s).Five (5) years of experience leading project management experience.Demonstrated experience with the ITIL framework required. Three (3) years of experience with hands-on experience with Lean and Agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban. Summary of Qualifications: Proven expertise in designing and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures.In-depth knowledge of routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF.Extensive experience with Next-Generation Firewalls, preferably Palo Alto NetworksStrong understanding of network security principles and best practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading technical projects and initiatives..
