Cardiovascular Consultants of South GA is a growing cardiology group serving Southwest Georgia. We have over 80 team members including providers and staff serving in 6 different locations. Our Thomasville location is seeking a qualified FT Prior Authorization Specialist.
As a Prior Authorization Specialist you will be the liaison between our patients, providers and insurance companies regarding prescribed medications. Your main responsibility will be to navigate the prior authorization process efficiently and effectively, advocating for our patients at all times. Candidate must be a highly motivated and hardworking team player who is committed to providing excellent patient care. This position will require strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Excellent communications skills are essential along with the ability to remain focused while managing a high-volume, time-sensitive workload.
