Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This is a full-time position in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic life support procedures, including CPR, as needed
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Record and update patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a healthcare provider
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
- Assist with coding and billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
- Educate patients on proper medication use, diet, exercise, and other healthcare instructions
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting from an accredited program
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient service
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD) is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
