Opportunity for a 1099 contractor Vascular Tech for a well-established cardiology practice in Northern Virginia needed in our Reston office. The Vascular tech will provide extraordinary care to patients by performing a variety of diagnostic vascular exams under the direction of the cardiologist for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis.

Responsibilities: Performs non-invasive vascular procedures/lower extremity dopplers and writes preliminary interpretations.

WORK Experience: One (1) year experience in a healthcare setting as

Ultrasound/Vascular Tech. Must have a firm knowledge of anatomy and pathology. Must know how to perform Lower Extremity Venous and Arterial doppler. Echocardiography and carotid doppler a plus but not required. Must have excellent customer service skills. Requires good communication and organizational skills.

EDUCATION: Associate of Science degree in radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, or a certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of ultrasound or recognized educational program. ARDMS certification is required. BLS certification required. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to read, write and speak English.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of healthcare professionals.
