Position: Special Services Assistant Director Starting pay: $59,476.00 - 69,916.00 dependent on education and experience.

Reports To: Director of Special Services
Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Associate degree in Business, Education, Public Administration, or a related field preferred
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Experience in school operations and administrative support is preferred.
Ability to work with constant interruptions and remain focused; understand and carry out oral and written instructions; learn new procedures and upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
Compassion and empathy towards students with disabilities and their families.
Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
Preferred: Certification or training in special education support.
Experience with specialized software for managing special education records.
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive resources for students with disabilities.
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations (e.g., IDEA, ADA, Section 504).
Experience: Job related experience is not required but preferred.
