Job Description Summary: Inspect parts, components, and/or assemblies.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Authorities:
- Inspect parts, components, and/or assemblies
- Inspect the documentation of the parts, components, or assemblies being inspected
- Perform Capability Studies
- Assist in training personnel to perform inspection tasks
- Interact and communicate with Customer Source Inspectors, Customers, and Auditors
- Any other duties as assigned
Knowledge, skills, abilities, other:
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Use inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparators, height gage, etc.)
- Perform inspection levels (1st Article, In-Process, Final Inspections, PPAP, etc.)
- Able to document inspection results
- Utilize and/or program CMM, use SmartScope equipment for parts inspection
- Understanding of ASME Y 14.5 Dimensioning
- Apply 6 Sigma principles (capability studies, Gage R&R studies, etc.)
- Understand ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF6949 requirements
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Good listening skills
- Detail-oriented
- Able to work independently
Working Environment:
- Manufacturing warehouse
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.75 - $25.00 per hour
