Job Overview:
Join a rapidly growing law firm, seeks an ambitious paralegal who wants to work in a dynamic deal environment with the flexibility of a boutique law firm. Cara Stone is a leading corporate securities practice working with high-growth companies in a variety of industries.

Paralegal duties include:

• Provide paralegal support to lawyers firm-wide on corporate transactions, as well as similar corporate matters including tracking and saving emails, running redlines, summarizing changes, and maintaining checklists.
• Prepare initial draft documents for common corporate events such as formations, board consents, meeting minutes, amendments, agreements, stock certificates, and other corporate documents.
• Perform due diligence and prepare contract summaries; file annual reports and corporate franchise taxes.
• Provide transactional support including initial draft documents, resolutions, checklists, research, proofing, editing, and document organization.
• Coordinate securities filings, familiarity with Edgar, Delaware secretary of state and other filing organizations.

Additional Expected Experience:

· Minimum 4 years legal experience

· Big law experience preferred

· Admirable level of professionalism and ease in speaking with and emailing clients to receive information, move matters along, etc.

· Solid foundation and understanding of corporate ethics issues.

· Ability to supervise and assist certain administrative and support tasks.

· Comfortable working in an office or a remote team environment

· Self-starter

· Impeccable attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,626.14 - $69,399.22 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
