CAPY Tech Solutions is Hiring a GIS Specialist Near Houston, TX
GIS Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement web-based GIS applications using Experience Builder.
- Work closely with GIS analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions.
- Develop, customize, and configure Experience Builder widgets, themes, and templates.
- Integrate GIS applications with other systems and databases.
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of GIS applications.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
- Stay up to date with the latest GIS and Experience Builder trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in GIS development.
- Strong technical expertise in Experience Builder.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, NodeJS and other web development technologies.
- Experience with GIS software such.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Esri products such as ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder for ArcGIS, or ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience with mobile GIS development.
- GIS certification (e.g., Esri Technical Certification).
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Relocate:
- Houston, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
