Summary: Tableting Technician will follow and understand tableting procedures, set-up and dismantle machine. Also ensures that consistency and productivity are met on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to follow instruction and understand Tableting Manufacturing Procedure as instructed on

batch ticket.

• Ability to check all equipment, room and tools are cleaned, sanitized, checked and signed by QA prior to

starting a batch.

• Able to verify product (material) and total weight before starting a batch.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks.
• Know how to wash tooling and small utensil.
• Able to operate scale and simple math.
• Know how to check (measure) for hardness, disintegration time and thickness.
• Know how to weigh and measure tablets.
• Must be able to identify unusual materials and communicates issues to Lead and/or Manager.
• Executes proper shift change and communicates all information pertaining to the operator’s area of

responsibility.

• Anticipates and minimizes down time to ensure completion of order in a timely manner.
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.
• Ensures that work area is clean and organized at all times.
• Communicates solutions and ideas on how to improve department to the department Manager.
• Performs all duties in compliance with safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Previous experience working with manufacturing equipment preferred.
Education/Experience: Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
