Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Processor to join our team. As a Processor, you will be responsible for preparing and processing various fish items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. More specifically your role will be centered around the swordfish and tuna department. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of food items.
Duties:
- Prepare and process food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as knives, slicers, mixers, and grinders, safely and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations regarding food preparation, safety, and sanitation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production or processing is preferred
-Previous expereince in seafood cutting/production is required
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
