We are representing an industry leading manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Plant Accountant for their rapidly growing manufacturing facility. This organization is the industry leader in their respective product line and have a proven track record of success. This position would report to their Sr. Plant Controller with a strong working relationship with their Director of Finance.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Assist with month-end close process including financial package preparation.
• Maintain various records, ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Analyzes financial data obtained through studies to determine effects of costs on business
• Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs
• Provides management with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures.
• Conduct variance analysis for multiple departments/programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Candidate should be well versed in Excel
• Experience with month end close process
• Strong budgeting/forecasting
