JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Plant Manager
JOB SUMMARY
This position works closely with the Department Manager, Plant Manager, Department Mangers, Shift Supervisors and Engineering. The position requires good communication skills. Must be able to plan and prioritize issued assignments according to need. Expected to maintain over all care of the manufacturing machines, support equipment and utilities. Requires research, brainstorming and fact-based decision. Will work vendors to assist with resources or labor. Expected to help maintain inventory levels for equipment that is critical to operations and consumables. Will maintain a working assignment log for the issuing and completion of work. Must have good time management skills and be responsive and follow up on request.
