Capstone On Campus Management is Hiring a Student Maintenance Assistant - Towson University Near Towson, MD

 

Job Title: Student Maintenance Assistant

Reports To: Facilities Director 

Location: Millennium Hall, Harris Hall, and Tubman House at Towson University

Compensation: $15.00 per hour. Position works up to 30-hours per week. Position not eligible for benefits.

Positions Available: 2

FLSA Status: Student Non-Exempt

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, is a group of student housing professionals focused exclusively on the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and/or highly affiliated with a university.

Summary:

A Student Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting with the preventative maintenance tasks in the community. This position is a temporary position with the position ending date of 09.01.2024. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • General cleaning of the grounds.
  • Replacing air filters.
  • Replacing smoke detector and thermostat batteries.
  • Replacing light bulbs.
  • Distributing items to apartments.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma.
  • Current student at Towson University 
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and navigate up and down stairs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in verbal communication.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Must have troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
