Job Title: Director of Student Housing Operations
Reports To: Regional Vice President
Location: California State University San Marcos
Compensation: $120,000-$145,000 per year and competitive benefits package
FLSA Status: Exempt

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, is a group of student housing professionals focused exclusively on the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and/or highly affiliated with a university. The Director of Student Housing Operations with COCM at California State University San Marcos will provide leadership for the on-campus student housing community. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to communication liaison between ownership and key stakeholders; fiscal oversight; management of accounts payable and receivable; oversight of leasing, marketing and summer conference programs; enforcement of housing agreement terms; supervision of facility maintenance; and supervision of professional staff. The responsibilities of the Director require a combination of managerial and interpersonal skills aimed at supporting staff and residents while running a fiscally efficient operation. The Director must work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure this obligation is met. The ideal candidate for this position is enthusiastic, possesses a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills.
