Capsa Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic college intern to join our team and assist in our ongoing AI initiatives and data analytics projects. You may be part of a scrum team that drives product and customer success, while getting mentorship and support from Senior Engineers and Mentors to help you learn and grow with the ever-changing healthcare manufacturing industry.

Position Location: Portland, OR. We support a hybrid working model.

As the Engineering Intern, your contributions to the team will include:

• Assist in setting up tools and infrastructure for AI initiatives
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation for analysis
• Perform data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions
• Assist in developing and testing AI models and algorithms
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI and data analytics
• Document and present findings to stakeholders
• Support in setting up and maintaining AI tools and platforms
• Provide support for other related tasks as needed

What we ask of you:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in the program.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI concepts and technologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus
• Familiarity with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, NLP is a plus

Duration: 3 to 6 months
