Title: CNA Geriatrics

Contract: 8 weeks
Shift: 3 pm to 11 pm

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or other medical professionals. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff
- Administer basic medical treatments and procedures, such as catheter care or wound dressing changes
- Assist in the provision of specialized care for patients with developmental disabilities, hospice care needs, or critical care requirements
- Support patients in assisted living facilities or geriatric settings
- Maintain cleanliness and aseptic technique in patient rooms and common areas
- Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic health record systems such as Cerner

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with patient care techniques and protocols
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, children, or in hospice care is a plus

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate nature and the ability to provide emotional support to patients during challenging times
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems such as Cerner

• Geriatrics: 1 year (Required)
• CNA: 1 year (Required)
• Long term care: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CNA (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Covid vaccination copy (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Greensboro, NC 27406: Relocate before starting work (Required)
