Summary:

Come join our amazing team at Capitol PT! We are currently interviewing for a PT Technician position at our Verona clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a Pre-PT student to get some hands-on experience in the clinic setting. The PT Tech will perform routine tasks in assisting physical therapists in maintenance of cleaning and preparing treatment areas, equipment, and supplies. Helps with patient preparation, exercise and treatment. Assists the therapist with efficient flow of the schedule and reduces waiting time of the patients. Responsible for positive patient interaction with excellent communication skills and customer service. Must be able to multi-task and problem solve.

Anticipated Hours (For Part-Time):

Mondays: 2pm - 6pm

Wednesdays: 8-12:30pm

Thursdays: 2pm - 6pm

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Performs general cleaning duties in clinic and waiting room, opening & closing duties.

Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients.

Prepares patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation as needed.

Assures adequate linen and supplies in room.

Assists with maintenance and cleaning of equipment and clinic.

Routinely inventories equipment and supplies and notifies the Office Manager of items to order.

Assists in basic physical therapy duties under supervision of Physical Therapist.

Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Other responsibilities /duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED, student with background in health/wellness or personal training. Pre-physical therapy or allied health degree tract preferred.

Ability to interact with patients and engage them.

Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professional/courteous communication.

Positive, friendly and professional interactions with patients.
