Capitol City Ford is looking for an automotive technician. Techs are proficient with electrical systems, able to understand wiring diagrams, and able to diagnosis, repair or replace seat recliners, headliners, window regulators, instrument clusters, & HVAC systems. Techs also perform suspension and alignment repairs.

• Technicians perform maintenance and repair orders on vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Ford standards
• Mechanics provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

Requirements

Must have some level of instructor led automotive training (e.g. high school automotive, vocational, college, technical school, OEM, etc.)

• Must have own set of tools
• Have or be able to acquire the required certifications
• Dependable with a reliable source of transportation
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
