Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel vehicles - Use automotive diagnostics tools to identify problems and perform necessary repairs - Inspect and test diesel engines to ensure proper functioning - Follow schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations - Assemble and disassemble engines and other components as needed - Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, transmissions, or HVAC systems - Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems - Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed Skills: - Strong knowledge of diesel engines and industrial equipment - Proficient in automotive diagnostics tools and software - Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals - Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues accurately - Strong attention to detail for precise repairs and maintenance - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Prior experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred - Familiarity with transmission systems, HVAC systems, and other vehicle components - Ability to dig into complex mechanical systems to identify root causes of problems - Experience in equipment repair is a plus If you are a skilled Diesel Mechanic looking for a challenging role with opportunities for career growth, we encourage you to apply.
