Warehouse Associate

Capital Tire is Looking for Warehouse staff to fill open positions in our South Bend, IN location!

Capital Tire is a family-owned Tire Distributor that has been in business since 1919! Our long standing, 4th generation family company has 10 locations across the tri state area. Responsibilities:

Day to day warehouse duties consist of but are not limited to:

• Loading vehicles with outgoing tire shipments while ensuring product is stacked and secured properly
• Unloading vehicles of incoming tire shipments
• Put tires away in proper locations to help maintain inventory records
• Picks tires for orders to be loaded for outgoing shipments by hand or using the order picker

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate accurately and professionally with others
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting and/or handling (pushing/pulling) materials (up to 50 lbs. on average unassisted, but occasionally up to 125 lbs. with or without assistance), bending, standing, climbing or walking
• Able to work independently
• Be flexible, able to work with little supervision, be a self-starter yet able to work on a team, and take pride in completing assignments achieving a positive outcome for the customer
• Works as a team member with others
• Be of excellent moral character, trustworthy and reliable
• Experience with order pickers helpful
