Job Title
Maintenance Tech
The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for maintenance of bearing, shaft, pulley, gearbox, and wear part replacement of crusher, conveyors, pumps, screens, chutes, and other processing equipment. This position reports to the Maintenance Lead and Plant Supervisors and is on a 4 – 10 hours days and on call schedule for nights and weekends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating equipment such as skid steer, small loader, large wheel loader, forklift, manlift, and excavator.
- Responsible for plant and conveyor maintenance.
- Ability to perform necessary fabrication.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all site personnel and management.
- Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as required by company policies.
- Perform maintenance that may involve manual labor such as the use of shovels and fire hoses for clean up during plant down time.
- All other duties as assigned.
This is a safety sensitive position that is subject to completing a pre-employment physical and requires climbing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
