Basic Function:
Capital Region BOCES is seeking eligible candidates willing to be included in a pool of experienced school leaders willing to lead districts during the transition phase. Candidates must have a track record of achievement necessary to inspire the students, staff and community to meet district goals.
Responsibilities:
To lead a District during the transition time necessary for a Superintendent search.
The selected applicant will be subject to a fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation effective July 1, 2001.
Qualifications:
A. Must hold a valid School District Leader certification
B. Proven track record as an educational leader
C. Established student achievements
D. Overall experience as an operational leader
E. Exemplary communication skills
