Capital Aggregates is currently seeking an outside sales representative. This position will cover sales over our Rolla, Sullivan, and Cuba quarries, and sand sales for our Washington sand plant. Key responsibilities will include building relationships with potential and existing customers to establish trust and rapport. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven individual to generate leads and drive sales. Must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to contribute their own ideas to management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive sales through strategically targeting and following up with existing and potential customers.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge to answer customer questions and inquiries.
• Recommend marketing strategies to management and the marketing team.
• Manage sales forecasts and budgets while also meeting monthly quotas.
• Work alongside management in projecting sales and production goals.
• Attend industry-specific developmental trainings and workshops.
• Identify and gather market information and provide recommendations to management.
• Prepare formal presentations when needed.
• Build professional relationships with clients to understand their objectives and goals.
• Participates in weekly division sales meetings.
• Ensure product quality and customer service to customers.
• Follow safety policies and procedures when on job sites.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or related field preferred.
• 3 years of business-to-business sales experience
• Experience in the construction materials industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to travel. Some overnights required.
• Obtain a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug/alcohol screen.
