Field Supervisor

Location: Loudoun County Area

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities

As a Field Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing community jobsites related to the production plumbing of new residential properties, including single-family homes, townhouses, and 2-over-2 condos. Your responsibilities will include:

Site Management:

• Manage multiple jobsites, ensuring quality production plumbing.
• Manage project schedules to meet builder timelines.
• Address any schedule delays promptly.
• Effectively manage material.
• Lay out houses for plumbers per plans as required.
• Meet with inspectors as required to ensure we pass county inspections.

Effective use of Electronic Workflow:

• Schedule material orders and inspections.
• Submit job ready/job complete inspections.
• Schedule county inspections.
• Safety inspections.
• Plan modifications

Billing and Documentation:

• Accurately bill phase completion per house, verifying installed options.
• Manage purchase order requests for job site variances.
• Handle material orders and takeoffs.

Effective Communication:

• Collaborate with builders, other trades, office staff, and management to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Conduct necessary training.

Team Management:

• Schedule work activities for required crews.
• Collect and verify weekly timesheets for accurate payment.
• Hire, terminate, and manage employees, crews, and subcontractors.

Professional Conduct:

• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Professionally represent company with customers, other trades, field staff and inspectors.
• Ensure that our team members do the same.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of five years plumbing experience.
• Experience in new residential plumbing a plus.
• One plus years of supervisory experience a plus.
• Experienced in reading plans to establish material takeoffs and ensure proper installation.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and resources at once.
• Ability to effectively utilize company-issued communication devices.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Proficient in English (knowledge of jobsite Spanish is helpful).
• Favorable driving record and successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
