We are looking for a security guard to keep our campus and residents safe while helping with various activities throughout the community. This will include walking for much of the shift, and golf carts on occasion. If you are looking for a reliable rewarding job with great benefits, apply today!

DPSST (Unarmed Security Professional) certification preferred but not required. If you don't have a DPSST willing to get it within first 3 months of employment.

The current position we have available is a 40 hour a week benefit eligible and a wage that starts at $16 per hour. This will be a mixed schedule of NOC/Swing shift.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
• Ability to read and write basic correspondence.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Works indoors; must be able to stand/walk for 100% of the work day; must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. independently; must be able to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs. independently; must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and balance frequently throughout the work day. Must be able to see, hear, and speak. Must be able to maintain alertness during evening and night shifts. Employee is exposed to outside weather conditions.
