Overview:
We're seeking a dedicated Fertilization Technician to join our landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizer to our clients' lawns and gardens, ensuring healthy growth and vibrant appearances. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of different fertilizer types, application methods, and lawn care best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply fertilizers and soil amendments to lawns and landscape areas according to scheduled treatments and clients' needs.
• Operate and maintain fertilizer application equipment and vehicles, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Monitor lawn and garden health, identifying signs of pest or disease and recommending appropriate treatments.
• Maintain records of fertilizer applications, noting quantities used, areas treated, and any observed effects on plant health.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding fertilizer and chemical use, ensuring environmental compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering clients' questions regarding fertilization treatments and general lawn care advice.
• Work closely with the landscaping team to coordinate services and contribute to overall project success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fertilization Technician or similar role in lawn care or landscaping.
• Knowledge of various types of fertilizers, their applications, and impact on different plant species.
• Ability to operate fertilizer spreaders, sprayers, and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Certification or willingness to obtain certification in fertilizer application and safety procedures is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
